Randolph Beresford Early Years Centre federated with Vanessa Nursery School in 2016 to bring together the very best of early education and childcare to the families of the White City and Shepherds Bush areas.
The nursery Schools staff teams consist of specialist early years teachers working with Nursery Early Years Educators and Childcare assistants. Our Head Teacher is Michele Barrett, each school has a senior leadership team.
The school’s aim is to nurture, motivate, and inspire children while challenging them in their learning. We aim to support all children in being fascinated in the world they are growing up in.
We are a maintained nursery school with a range of free places for up to 200 children aged two, three and four years old.
We aim to support children and parents by having a multi professional team at Randolph Beresford including a Child Psychotherapist, an Art Therapist, music sessions for children with a music therapist and sports/activity sessions provided by the London Sports Trust.
We have an on-site Forest School where our Forest School trained Teachers give all children a rich and diverse curriculum in which to learn.
Randolph Beresford is based in the White City neighbourhood of Hammersmith & Fulham. We are rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
Places Available
Children aged 3 and 4 are eligible for 15-hour funded nursery places. These are referred to as ‘part time places’ and are offered as two and a half days. If your child has a Monday to Wednesday attendance pattern this would be 9am to 3.15pm Monday and Tuesday and 9am to 11:30am on Wednesday. If your child has a Wednesday to Friday attendance pattern then Wednesday 12:45pm to 3:15pm and Thursday and Friday 9am to 3:15pm. On their full days’ children will have lunch, a fee for school meals is payable in advance.

Randolph Beresford Nursery Schools is very popular with the local community and is often oversubscribed; inevitably, many families are disappointed because there is not a place for them. Randolph Beresford sit in the heart of the White City Estate with many of our children living on the estate or in the local area.
Governor Information
Randolph Beresford is a maintained nursery school federated with Vanessa Nursery. The schools are overseen by the Federated Governing Board, including parent governors, who have overall responsibility for ensuring that the school offers the very best standards for early education and care.
