At Randolph Beresford Early Years Centre, we believe that all children from the local community have a right to attend a local nursery, to make and maintain relationships with and be seen as a valuable, equal member of that community. We celebrate that all children are unique and have something to offer to our nursery community. We understand that all children have individual needs. With this in mind we developed our Curriculum so that all children can access high quality learning through play and make steady progress from their individual starting points.
Our aim is to make sure that every child can learn through our curriculum. To do this we consider that;
- Sometimes children need extra help to take part in learning
- That some children may need time in a small group
- That some children need more time to learn a new skill or concept
We will talk to you if this is the case, we will agree with you how we can work together to give your child extra help.

The term Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) describes the needs of children who have a difficulty or disability that makes learning harder for them that for children of the same age. SEND covers a broad spectrum of challenge and disability.
We understand that you want the best for your child- this includes getting the right support when you need it. There are different stages of support and different types of support available depending on the age and needs of your child. Please look on the Local offer website for more information and click below to read our Centre SEND Policy and Information record which tells you how we work to support children with SEND and their families.
If you have a concern about your child please contact the SENCo on firstname.lastname@example.org.
